In this four-part series, we will learn and practice “mindfulness” and discover how it can be beneficial in both our personal and professional lives.  These tools can help reduce our stress, focus our attention, and be more compassionate to ourselves and to others.  For those of us working with conflict, this is essential!  We will breathe together and share our stories.

We are fortunate to have Cheryl Brause of 2bpresent leading our trainings. Please read about Cheryl and 2bpresent here.  Since each training session will build upon the last, attendance at all four sessions is encouraged (and discounted).  Of course, we welcome you to attend as many as you can.

The following Fridays 10:15 am – 12:00 pm

January 29

Suite 9

Cheryl Brause is co-founder of 2bpresent.  2bpresent is an organization that teaches, encourages and inspires people of all backgrounds to practice present moment awareness and mindfulness meditation in every day life. An attorney by training, Cheryl has had experience practicing in Manhattan for several years in corporate litigation, white-collar criminal litigation and public interest matters, and before that, Cheryl worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. The culmination of her experience in the corporate world and as a busy parent led her to explore and cultivate a personal yoga and meditation practice and to study with leaders in the field of meditation and mindfulness. Cheryl has also studied Positive Psychology and Neuroscience, and is trained in several mindfulness based teaching curriculums, including Search Inside Yourself, Google’s Mindfulness-Based Leadership training. Cheryl frequently speaks and facilitates workshops in schools, businesses and organizations, and teaches mindfulness and meditation privately to children, teens and adults. She is thrilled to be taking this journey 2bpresent and sharing it with valued members of the Family and Divorce Mediation professional community.
