BREAKING POINTS is a 30-minute documentary that explores the stress and pressures our teens face everyday, as well as the unhealthy ways that many of them cope, including misusing prescription stimulants.  The film (intended for parents) includes candid perspectives from high-school and college students as well as nationally recognized experts.

 

A panel dicussion and Q & A following the film will offer strategies to help you reduce the stress in your teen's life.

 

WHEN:  Wednedsay, January 24th

TIME: 7 pm

WHERE: Rye Neck High CShool Performing Arts Center

 

Panelists include:

Dr Alicia Murray,  adolescent psychiatrist specializing in addiction and anxiety.

Dr. Chad Brice, licensed clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults and families.

Emma, a young woman in recovery who grew up in Mamaroneck.

Cheryl Brause, certified mindfulness instructor who works with adults, teens, families and children.

Dr. Andre Newfield, addiction psychiatrist who will serve as our moderator.
