Teenagers today deal with many stresses and competing demands on their time and attention. These workshops are designed to help teens learn tools to cope with the demands of a very busy life, so they not only survive but thrive.  In these workshops, which are part of a series of workshops run through Thrive Tutoring, teens will learn and practice mindfulness exercises that help increase focus and attention, reduce anxiety, find calm when feeling stressed or anxious and work with difficult, self-defeating and ruminating thoughts. These workshops are well-developed, research-based strategies and practices from the latest in the fields of Mindfulness, Neuroscience and Positive Psychology. Teens will leave with practical tools to help them relax, navigate the stresses of school and social pressures, as well as cultivate a greater sense of joy and happiness, inner resilience and optimism.
