Mindfulness meditation is a form of mental training. Scientific research now shows that we can build and strengthen our minds, just like we can build and strengthen our muscles. A mindfulness practice helps us be more present in our daily lives, optimize our mental function and to improve our health, focus, clarity, relaxation, productivity and joy. In this workshop, we will learn tools to help us live with greater awareness, presence, and intentionality, to work with difficult, self-defeating, and ruminating thoughts, to listen with greater care and attention to family and friends, and to identify the root cause of stress and utilize mindfulness techniques to manage it.
