2BP Testimonials from Individuals Who Took Private Classes

I took Cheryl’s mindfulness class last spring and the effects have stayed with me.  The tools and techniques she showed the class were fun and easy to use and the discussion really brought everything down to a real level that can be applied.  Cheryl has a unique way of speaking about mindfulness that is very insightful and practical.  I thoroughly enjoyed the class and would highly recommend!
— Giselle W., Mindful Living
Every now and then you come across a class or a person who helps you to be a better person.  Cheryl offers just that.  I am a better person because of all the things that I have learned - I am a better spouse, a better mother, a better friend, a better co-worker, and actually even more compassionate with myself.  And what’s the best part?  That I got all this by simply learning how to slow down and calm down.  I will be forever grateful! Taking the beginning meditation class is the single most important thing I have done for myself in the last decade.  I can honestly say that my family and I are all happier because of my taking this one step to learn how to be calmer and more mindful.
— Katie S., PHd Psychology, Mindful Living
Just a quick note to thank you so much for being such a wonderful instructor.  I am enjoying your class so much, and I really love practicing being mindful.  I enjoyed my coffee so much this week, and my kids got a fabulous belly laugh about listening to the raisins! I am trying hard to be present in every moment, and am filled with gratitude that that I signed up for this class.
— Rosemary P., Mindfulness Fundamentals
Cheryl’s class taught me not only how to meditate, but how to incorporate mindfulness into everything that I do. Cheryl is extremely knowledgeable about the practice of mindfulness and has a teaching style that is very easy to understand and accessible. It was a truly life changing experience. I can’t wait for my next class!
— Melissa G., MBA, Mindful Living
This was a fantastic course. On a scale of 1 – 5, I would rate it a 6. Everybody in the class had a great time – Cheryl was knowledgeable and generous. I would highly recommend this to any of my friends and would take future courses offered by Cheryl!
— Participant, Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation
Thanks again for this morning. Every time we have a session I feel so inspired by you. I know I don’t know your family so well but I feel like I look to you as a true role model of someone who is doing it all and seems to have found something that is making the journey more meaningful. Anyway just wanted to say thanks.
— Vivian G., Mindfulness Fundamentals
Your classes are helping refocus my mind from the chronic pain and anger I have been carrying for over 7 years . It will be a long process to let go but I know I need to. I took your advice and walked “the loop” around the water today with my dog.  There were hundreds of daffodils in bloom that some generous soul planted years ago. I saw a sweet rabbit and listened to the birds.  So enjoyable!
— Many thanks, Barbara M., Mindfulness Fundamentals

    Teenage Class Testimonial from Parent

The 2bpresent’s mindfulness workshop for teens was very effective in helping my teenage son learn techniques he could use when feeling anxious. These tangible tools have enabled him to keep his mind and body calm in stressful situations, allowing him to get through them successfully where he would previously get stuck. My son was skeptical going into the class, but Cheryl relates well to teenagers - he enjoyed the class, and came back for more.

Testimonial from Teens in my Teen Class

I took a Mindfulness course for teens with 2bpresent. This class helped me to recognize my perfectionistic thoughts and learn to let them go. I enjoyed the relaxation techniques, and the teachers really knew how to connect to teens.
    — Sophia G., age 12, Learning to Breathe - Mindfulness for Teens
It made me realize that I wasn’t the only one that was stressed and anxious.  I felt safe and comfortable sharing and learning in a friendly environment.
    — Sam age 14, Learning to Breathe - Mindfulness for Teens
The handouts were helpful so I could practice breathing exercises at home.  I liked the Kid-friendly comics and diagrams that made it fun and understandable.

    Mindfulness in Schools

Parent on Mindfulness in School Program

Cheryl came to talk to our district about mindfulness and the event was an incredible success. Her presentation was engaging, informative and extremely relatable.  And, it included something for everyone — parents, students, and even teachers. Cheryl introduced the benefits of mindfulness, provided supportive research, and shared easy, implementable ways to incorporate mindfulness into our lives and our classrooms.  If you’re looking to bring information about mindfulness to your school or community, Cheryl is a terrific choice.
